This (soon to be) autumn leaf has gone to the UK. Fernando seems to like using the leaf motif… the earthy brown tones and the textures of the hides must evoke trees, forests, barks…
And that´s how FG bags evolve. Fernando doesn´t drive to Ubrique thinking… ‘I´m going to look for a hide to make a little brown shoulder bag with a back fastener and a leaf motif.’ He drives down to Ubrique, parks wherever he can (Ubrique being a bustling commercial town) and goes to see Julio in his ‘almacén‘ (warehouse). ‘Have you got anything special for me this week, Julio?’
