When I saw this photo it reminded me of ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’. I imagine Fernando often wishes he had a helpful Elf around, especially when he has various orders to finish! The stitching method Fernando uses (saddle stitch or double needle stitching) is certainly quite time-consuming but gives an incredibly durable result.
