The primary school children here in Andalusia went back to school yesterday, but the secondary ones (our son amongst them) still have till Friday. That makes it a round 12 weeks of summer holidays, yes, THREE months. So begins a frantic trying to remember what getting up in the morning and getting ready for school for 8am entails. Plus the search for long-lost pencil cases, calculators, exercise books and the ubiquitous school backpack.
I don’t think either of these would be big enough for the mountain of text books they have to lug back and forth here; they are just beautiful non-scholastic backpacks!
